Our fabulous and talented Dallas Designers recently returned from Vegas’ Spring Market and are bursting with creative inspiration after their trip! We’ve had our designers sit down with us and tell us a few of the trends they are seeing for 2021! Take a look at some of our Dallas Designers favorite finds at Market!
TRENDING COLORS AT VEGAS MARKET
EMERALD GREEN
Emerald green has been emerging from the sea of grays and blues for the last couple seasons. The rich hue of green is being partnered with navy, gold and black and white, which remain strong palettes for design plans. Our Dallas Designers can’t wait to use these strong colors this upcoming year in their award-winning designs.
NEUTRAL- BLACK AND WHITE
When you are looking for a simple and clean look, our Dallas Designers found that black and white were common colors amongst the different showrooms. You can’t go wrong with this fresh and modern take on these traditional decorating colors.
ORANGE, GREEN, BLUE/TEAL, AND PINK
Orange, green and blue type jewel tones are also bringing bold contrast to soft blush and ivory and even vibrant marigold. Rich jewel tones and soft pastels are both strongly used palettes. Either way you go, color is always strong and makes for the best statement in our Dallas Designs.
“Cut velvets, abstract prints and all things performance when it comes to fabrics are always a designer’s DREAM,” says Junior Designer Linsey Schminke. Think layering textures with baskets, pillows, rugs and accessories to get the perfect look. Two of the most interesting trends our designers came across while at market were the “beaded look” and “full bar cart setups.” See below for some fun examples!!
OTHER FUN TRENDS AT VEGAS MARKET
Our Dallas Designers also mentioned that mixed metal tones are still hot hot hot. We are continuing to see more and more gold, brass and rose gold emerge. While mixing the silver and gold to balance cool and warm tones is still popular, the warmer brassy and golden finishes and accents are taking a design lead in lighting, furniture details and accessories!
