Years

Linda Baker is an Award-Winning Dallas Interior Designer known for her passionate approach to life, relationships, and design. With over 30 years of experience in the design industry, Linda and her team are known in Dallas for their custom high-end design in residential and commercial properties while creating a comfortable environment for all to enjoy. Stunning design, residentially and commercially, has garnered her firm to win repeatedly in Dallas and Texas with over 50 Awards in the past ten years.
Her past career in radio sales in sales and marketing in Houston was a significant highlight: Linda’s excellent marketing skills and the delight of strong client relationships that have served her well. Linda’s career spanned over 12 years and served as President of American Women in Radio and TV. Her broadcasting career includes KODA, KIKK, and KTRH. Linda’s career included selling and marketing all three Houston Sports Franchises: The Oilers, The Astros, and The Rockets. Linda took a few years off after a significant shift due to her young family to re-evaluate her next career steps. She began an extensive construction process on one of her homes, which needed much love and attention, and her love of interior design blossomed into her next career. That concise period allowed Linda to spend time with my children and ramp up more practically.
Her enthusiasm for her profession is reflected in her ability to help clients achieve their goals. She combines her passionate approach to life with her remarkable design talent. It gives her great pleasure to see clients embrace their newly designed spaces and see how their designs impact their environment. Baker Design Group has received numerous Dallas and IDS, Texas, and Dallas ASID and DHome awards over the past several years. Linda served on the National Board of IDS, Interior Design Society, and was two-term President of the Dallas Chapter of IDS. Also has been a member of ASID. Linda feels incredible blessings and privilege to have another career that still makes her heart sing! Her passion for her staff, vendors, and clients has been clearly the gift of a career that she will always consider one of the greatest gifts in her life. No two days are ever the same, and she lives to thrive on change and challenges, knowing the best days are yet to come.
