Counting down until those first spring blossoms appear outside? We are too.
This has the interior designers at Baker Design Group considering how bringing the outdoors in year round, surrounding ourselves with blooming beauty in various forms, keeps our spirits up and our spaces feeling alive. We’ll share 3 ways to brighten your home or office!
Your artwork, decor, and textiles all bring in color, but why stop there?
By incorporating uniquely designed organic pieces, you can add life to your space. We have loved seeing how Corey, our talented Floral Designer based in Dallas, creates personalized pieces that bring together the interior design in a room and elevate the drama in the space with beautiful containers and unexpected combinations. His designs have inspired us to show you how to “put some bloom in your room.”
1. Reflect the colors in the room in a non-traditional way. This freshens the space with something surprising. We all expect to see a 15 year-old faux ficus tree; invigorate with true, gardenesque looks instead.
2. Make a bold statement in a previously passed-over space. Do you ever stop to appreciate your bare kitchen island, vanity countertop, or entry way table? Make an impact by placing an eye-catching styled accessory here.
We love this combination of succulents, moss, natural wood bowl, and metallic base!
3. Detail, detail, detail. What we love most about Corey’s designs are his use of such different, yet complementary elements: from preserved wood, moss, florals, and grasses, to pods, rocks, crushed glass, and orbs. Color is brought in with blown glass balls, and drama inspired by utilizing glam inspired elements or nature inspired luster with shining shells, coral sprays, or geodes.
Happy Spring from the Dallas Designers at Baker Design Group!
