Casita Meets the Lake: A Flower Mound Interior Design Transformation

Vision in the Details

Before the first sofa was delivered or the last pillow fluffed, this Flower Mound interior design project began as a vision—one rooted in functionality, warmth, and personal style. As a Dallas interior design firm, Baker Design Group brought our full-service expertise to create a space that’s both livable and luxurious. From layered textures to statement art and durable, designer-selected furnishings, every element was chosen with intention. This custom design project is a reflection of how beautiful form and everyday function can live side by side.

Casita Concept Design: Mediterranean Soul, Family-Ready Style

The downstairs “Casita” is a standout example of Mediterranean-inspired interior design. Warm tones, sculptural furniture, and playful pops of texture create a welcoming space perfect for hosting and relaxing. Designed to accommodate multigenerational living in Flower Mound, this space was influenced by the client’s recent travels through Italy and tailored to their love of layered details and timeless style.

From the hand-picked art and custom pillows to the richly patterned rug and stone-top cocktail table, the Casita is filled with custom residential design elements that bring story and soul to the space. Whether you’re hosting a casual gathering or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, the space is intentionally flexible and full of personality.

Upstairs Escape: The Observation Deck

Three stories up, the Observation Deck is a masterclass in lake house interior design. With sweeping views of Lake Grapevine, this space was designed for reflection and calm. Airy lake tones, cognac leather accents, and thoughtfully placed textures create a space that feels both grounded and elevated. There’s no television here—just panoramic windows, plush seating, and peaceful surroundings.

As a high-end interior designer, we wanted to give our client a moment of escape within their own home. This space offers just that: a suspended moment in time that invites you to pause, breathe, and be present.

Bringing the Vision to Life

Every furnishing, finish, and fabric was selected to reflect our client’s lifestyle and personal aesthetic. From custom swivel chairs and hand-curated artwork to durable area rugs and family-friendly upholstery, this project represents the kind of thoughtful design work that sets Baker Design Group apart as a top residential interior designer in Dallas-Fort Worth.

If you’re dreaming of a home that blends beauty, comfort, and personality, our team would love to help. Whether it’s a lakefront retreat, a full remodel, or a cozy addition like this Casita, we specialize in turnkey interior design services across Flower Mound, Highland Park, Southlake, and greater Dallas.
