Our fabulous Dallas designers and marketing team recently returned from High Point’s Spring Market and we are bursting with creative inspiration after the trip and can’t wait to share everything with you!
Keep reading for this month’s Design Spotlight, featuring our Interior Designer, Amanda, and all of her favorite design trends that she found at High Point Market!
After spending so much time indoors the past couple years, people are yearning for nature. Interior design offers the perfect opportunity to bring the peace and tranquility of the outdoors inside.
We saw an abundance of organic textures, florals, rattan, and blonde wood at High Point this season and Amanda can’t wait to use these elements in her upcoming interior design presentations!
The ‘70s are back! And we’re not just talking about flare pants, platform shoes and beads. You can incorporate rattan in your home in numerous ways. Rattan pairs particularly well with boho and coastal aesthetics due to its wooden appearance and looks great dressed up with cushions and funky textures. For a farmhouse style, rattan meshes well with warm wooden tones and woven materials.
For a long time, square arms and straight-backed sofas were all the talk, but that trend has started to swing over the last few years. While there will always be a place for a masculine lines and rectangular sofas, the trend has definitely shifted towards curvaceous and more feminine seating.
Modern and sleek dining chairs can look uncomfortable, but this arm chair seems to achieve the desired look while also being comfy. Our BDG Designers love the clean lines of the frames contrasted with the coziness of the fabric in the seating.
Dreaming of a tropical vacation but can’t leave the house?! Let your home furnishings and decor take you on holiday instead. The coastal nature design trend features exotic patterns and beachy elements that make ordinary living spaces feel like the nicest resorts.
