Bathrooms are deeply personal spaces, and we never take that responsibility lightly. For this project, we approached the bathroom with the same reverence and intentionality we brought to every other room in the home, because a beautifully designed bathroom has the power to set the entire tone of your day.
The transformation here was perhaps one of the most satisfying of the entire project. Replacing the dark, heavy presence of the original space with a palette of soft grey blues and the refined texture of fluted vanities felt like opening a window and letting the light finally pour in. The room exhaled. And so did we.
Every finish, every fixture, and every carefully chosen detail was selected to create a space that feels as restorative as it is beautiful. A room that wraps you in calm the moment you step inside and reminds you that the smallest spaces in a home deserve just as much love and intention as the grandest ones.
The bathroom told the same story as the rest of the home when we first encountered it. Dark wood vanities, heavy countertops, and dated wallpaper that had long overstayed their welcome had left the space feeling dim, closed off, and disconnected from the people using it every day. It was a room that had simply stopped serving its purpose beautifully. Like every other space in this home, it deserved so much more.”
Gentle tones of grey blue were introduced to set a calm and quietly sophisticated palette throughout the space, immediately lifting the heaviness of what had been there before. Beautifully crafted fluted vanities brought a layer of texture and refined elegance that feels both current and timeless, their clean architectural detail a striking departure from the dark and dated cabinetry of the original space. Thoughtfully selected new lighting was layered in to illuminate the room with warmth and intention, transforming what was once a dim and uninspiring space into one that feels luminous and serene at every hour of the day.
Every selection was made with the same guiding principle that shaped every room in this home. That true beauty is found not in excess but in the quiet confidence of getting every detail exactly right.
We wanted the bathroom to feel like a natural and seamless continuation of the lighter, fresher world we were creating throughout the rest of the home. A personal sanctuary that felt genuinely restorative, the kind of space that greets you gently in the morning and invites you to slow down at the end of the day. Soft, serene, and thoughtfully composed from every angle.
