In Fort Worth’s exclusive Fleming Point community, every room reads like a chapter—moody, tactile, and unmistakably personal. In this collaboration between Baker Design Group (BDG) and Our Country Homes (OCH), the traditional idea of a model home is rewritten into something warmer, richer, and entirely custom.
Some homes impress you on entry; this one invites you to exhale.
From the moment you approach the grand pivot door, the story begins: limewashed walls rising toward soaring ceilings, a sculptural stone pedestal with quiet presence, and custom florals arranged as if for your arrival. It’s the perfect tension of editorial luxury and livable warmth—a hallmark of BDG’s interior design philosophy.
This 8,500-square-foot home—internally called “The Collected Estate”—forsakes staged perfection for lived-in soul. Instead of feeling like a showroom, the space feels ready for memories, routines, and real life.
“Our signature isn’t a look,” says BDG Director of Interior Design Lisa Floyd. “It’s a feeling—spaces that read collected, intentional, and alive.”
Designing the Duality: Cozy Meets Polished
While the architecture set the stage, Baker Design Group shaped the emotion. Every detail in this Fort Worth luxury home was designed around how a future family might truly live—morning light, gathering moments, seasonal traditions, and everyday comfort.
Natural textures and tactile materials drive the story: limewash, leather, oak, boucle, fluted metal, stone. The result is transitional, modern, warm, and deeply personal—never cold, never predictable.
“We wanted people to instantly picture life happening here,” says BDG designer Amanda Tarango. “Holidays. Noise. Stillness. All of it.”
The Great Room: A Blend of Fort Worth Warmth & Modern Luxury
At the center of the home is an expansive great room, seamlessly integrating the living space, dining room, and kitchen.
Design Highlights:
-
A reeded cast-stone fireplace beneath stained ceiling beams
-
Twin hammered-gold chandeliers for sculptural impact
-
Crema marble dining table paired with sienna velvet chairs
-
A twelve-foot kitchen island for gathering and entertaining
-
Cognac and ivory leather stools
-
Stained oak cabinetry and gallery-style brass fixtures
The color story, amber, sienna, rust, blends desert-modern architecture with a refined Southern sensibility, creating one of the most striking great rooms among new-build luxury homes in Fort Worth.
The Game Room: Elevated Leisure With Mood & Edge
If the great room brings warmth, the game room brings swagger.
Vaulted ceilings, twin gold chandeliers, and metallic cloud wallpaper introduce drama. A black pedestal table anchors the space for game nights, accompanied by caramel velvet swivel chairs and greenery that softens the intensity.
Across the room, the custom bar glows:
-
Deep green millwork
-
Amber-lit glass cabinets
-
Reeded marble
-
Sculptural hardware
It’s part lounge, part art installation—a signature BDG moment designed for connection, entertainment, and conversation.
The Primary Suite: Livable Luxury in Every Detail
The primary suite, one of the most shareworthy spaces in the home, embodies Baker Design Group’s expertise in creating warm, emotional, high-end retreats.
An ivory channeled bed sits beneath wood beams, framed by drapery that moves as sculptural art. The palette layers cognac, ivory, bronze-green, and boutique textiles including boucle, tweed, and stone. Ebonized cabinetry introduces depth and grounded sophistication.
Through an arched vestibule, a boutique-style coffee bar appears in willow green and terra-cotta marble—an unexpected luxury feature celebrated in today’s new-construction home trends.
The ensuite bath continues the narrative with:
-
Marble and onyx finishes
-
Architectural arches
-
Laser-cut tile
-
Cinematic lighting
-
A freestanding sculptural tub
It’s a retreat designed for restoration, daily ritual, and quiet luxury.

Rooms We Could Linger in Forever
The Study: Moody, Peacock-Toned Confidence
Wrapped in peacock teal paneling and built-in shelving, The Study is a room that instantly shifts the energy of the home. Moody, tailored, and richly layered, it balances depth with warmth through:
-
A coffered wood ceiling that grounds the space
-
Caramel leather seating with a refined, masculine ease
-
A sleek black marble fireplace with bold veining
-
A gilded mirror that amplifies light and elegance
This is not a typical model-home study—it’s a character room. A place for ideas, ambition, and a little drama. A Fort Worth take on “Booked & Boujee.”
The Pink Room: A Soft, Sculptural Daydream
On the opposite end of the design spectrum, The Pink Room delivers a completely different emotional experience—playful, feminine, and artistically composed. BDG leaned into tonal layering to create a space that feels both expressive and elevated.
Design details include:
-
Soft pink walls with tone-on-tone depth
-
Sculptural lighting with a whimsical edge
-
Luxe bedding and textures that feel airy yet intentional
-
Art and accessories curated to feel collected, not themed
It’s a room that celebrates individuality—a reminder that luxury doesn’t have to be neutral to be timeless. The Pink Room has quickly become one of the most photographed spaces in the home, and for good reason: it’s joy, expressed in color.
Behind the Design: The Art & Precision of a BDG Install
What appears serene and effortless is the result of meticulous planning.
“We probably installed this space twenty times in our heads before the first truck arrived,” Floyd shares.
Over three days, four designers and eight installers transformed the raw build into a story-rich home. Every floral stem, art placement, and texture was choreographed with intention.
This is what separates BDG from typical interior styling:
technical mastery + emotional resonance + builder partnership alignment.
Designing for Belonging: Why This Project Matters
At its heart, this project is about creating connection—spaces where luxury feels livable and every detail feels personal. As Fort Worth continues rapid growth, partnerships between builders like Our Country Homes and the best interior design firms like Baker Design Group are shaping a new era of curated, emotionally compelling luxury homes.
“We don’t want you to just admire it,” Floyd says. “We want you to feel it.”
Final Thoughts: Luxury With Soul at Fleming Point
The Collected Estate proves that great design isn’t about spectacle—it’s about soul. BDG has crafted a home that feels curated yet effortless, luxurious yet human—truly a standout in today’s landscape of Fort Worth luxury residences.
In a world filled with carbon-copy showcases, this home stands apart.
Not because it’s perfect—
but because it already feels like it belongs to someone.
