The Pink Bedroom

Designer POV

A celebration of feminine charm and botanical warmth, this bedroom is designed as a whimsically sophisticated take on cottage garden core.

Sherwin Williams Sandbank pink anchors a run of classic wainscot around the room, topped with a burst of vibrant floral wallpaper, establishing a garden of possibilities for this sweet room. The palette, pulled from the wallpaper, boasts pinks in terracotta and blush tones, greens in soft sage and rich emerald, and a pop of deep berry fuschia to add a fun, modern contrast.

Why sleep one sister when you can sleep two? Identical scallop-topped twin beds, cloaked in mossy green velvet host white dotted linens, accented by playful textured blankets and pillows in our signature pink tones. The scallop continues on custom blush linen pillows with the sweetest white borders, contrasting the punch of berry velvet pillows, edged in dancing ball trim.

A scalloped wicker chest of drawers evokes nostalgic craftsmanship, blending vintage-inspired charm with natural materiality. The scalloped edging softens its profile, transforming functional storage into an artful statement of texture and detail right between the twin beds. A ribbon of sculpted resin makes up a white lamp that nods to the dripping blossom of white crystals on the room’s statement chandelier.

With the warm pink background, an emerald green dresser commands the opposite wall, while companion shades of green drip from a macrame art piece above it. Grab a story or a nighttime serenade and enjoy the sweet rounded linen chair (performance fabric, of course!) with ambient lamp lighting, before nestling in for the night.

Beautiful landscaping is framed by floor to ceiling drapery. Embroidered pink vines run down white linen panels, creating a waterfall of ethereal texture and charm.

An en-suite bathroom brings a light and airy side dish to the bedroom, continuing a dusting of the pink. Details like the sconces, veining in the countertop, artwork, and subtle accessories sprinkle in the pink. A ring around the rosey of crystal flowers dance from the drum light fixture and soft fem curves echo from sink to plumbing fixtures.

The final effect is a retreat that feels both youthful and timeless, blending the serene beauty of a little girl’s dream garden with the comfort of a sophisticated retreat to grow with her.
