The Gameroom

Designer POV

A space where sophistication meets spontaneity, the Game Room invites both connection and competition under a canopy of drama and design. Vaulted ceilings draw the eye upward to twin gold chandeliers suspended in symmetry, their warm glow cascading across a showstopping wall of inky, metallic cloud wallpaper.

Anchoring the room, a bold black pedestal table sets the stage for poker nights and laughter-filled gatherings, surrounded by caramel velvet swivel chairs that add both comfort and confidence to the space. Every material choice here is deliberate—a harmony of texture and tone that balances playfulness with poise.

Flanking the statement wall, sculptural greenery in oversized matte vessels introduces an organic counterpart to the structured geometry of the design. A striking abstract artwork framed in gold centers the composition, grounding the energy of the room in artful restraint.

Across from the main seating, a bespoke bar glows from within—its amber-lit glass cabinetry revealing an enviable display of glassware. The deep green millwork and reeded marble countertop extend the home’s signature mix of modern luxury and Fort Worth warmth, while brass accents shimmer like well-earned trophies after a night of friendly rivalry.

Even the walls participate in the play: layered white sculptural art to one side and circular metal wall décor to the other infuse movement, rhythm, and contrast.

This is not your average game room—it’s a study in elevated leisure, where design takes center stage and every round feels like a celebration.
